Metal ring

On my birthday i got a coupon for a jewellery workshop. 

Since i don't wear so much jewellery myself, i first wasn't sure what i want to make.

But after some ideas from the teacher i wanted to make a silver ring. 

All the materials were included in the workshop. So i took a small silver strip and the teacher soldered the strip into a ring. Then hammered it into my ring size. 

They also had some rotated silver stirps. After they soldered into rings as well , i cut my silvering into two pieces and the teacher soldered them together again with some brass in-between.

Then the rotated silver rings were flattened and soldered to the silver ring.  

After everyone finished their workpiece, it was weighted and we had to pay the material price.

Since it was very late the teacher polished the ring later and send it to me. 

I turned out very nice and i learned a lot this day. I was a cool birthday gift.
