Guitar pick

Another birthday gift. This time for a colleague of mine. He started to learn to play the guitar, so i thought i was fitting to gift him a guitar pick. 

I picked a stick with a interesting grain. Then I cut a thin pieces of it.

Next i shaped it with a saw and some sandpaper. 

After it was smooth i added some oil.

It was a bit to thick for a pick but i couldn't do it thinner than that otherwise it would break.

But he appreciate the gift and was happy about it.
