Wood earings
Another gift. This time for my cousin. For her birthday i wanted to make her some jewellery.
I choose two designed which where simple but still looking good.
The wood i used were curly birch and padouk.
First i cut two small pieces of curly birch.
Then i drilled a hole in them and shaped them with the Dremel.
Next i drilled another hole but the opposite way for toothpick to fit in.
After some sanding and oiling these earrings were finished.
For the second pair i used padouk.
I started again with cut two pieces out of the wood.
Then i drilled a big hole in the middle but a bit of center.
After that i shaped it with the Dremel again.
Lastly i added a hook on top and sanded and oiled the earrings.
Since the set didn't fit match with the first pair i did another pair out of curly birch.
She love them and were really happy.
Since i had the padouk earrings laying around i decided to give them away to some friends on the internet. So i made a giveaway and a friend with the nickname "eiqju" won them. To ship the savely i also made her a custom box.
I pretty cool project which i will do more in the future. They will be sold on my shop.
