If i didn't want to poop in the darkness, i needed a light in my bathroom. 

To fit the theme of the bathroom i decided to turn a rustic looking log into a lamp.

I got all things i needed for that project from the hardware store.

First i measured and cut a groove for the light to sit in into the wood piece. Also i added some grooves on the ends of the log for some rope as hanger. 

A third groove was added on top where the electronics with sit in.

Then i glued the channel for the LED strips in place. 

After that i drilled a hole for the cables trough the wood and into the channel.
